Anytime I go anywhere with Elizabeth, we inevitably run into at least eight people from Chicago, her home town.  And inevitably, we make new friends as a result.  That’s one of the many things I admire about Beth; her ability to engage people, strangers, in a friendly way that makes the engagee feel accepted and appreciated and important.  I experienced this myself…Beth engaged me the moment we met and then I engaged her a couple years later with my great-grandmother’s ring.
Elizabeth loves many things:  kittens, Bjork, McQueen, internets, her friends, leather, wine…and me.  And that’s just the bee’s knees.
Next year, on May 24th, she becomes a part of my family and I become a part of hers.
Beth has tons of extended family and they’ve already welcomed me with open arms…it’s an incredible feeling.  My family is small and compact, but I have a huge extended Honor Society family and I trust that they will also welcome Beth with the same kind of love and acceptance hers has granted me.
